How to translate the extensions

1To translate a Latitud WEB Joomla Extension you need to download the original English language file.

2Then you need to translate the sentence at the right side of the equals sign into the new language. For example, the former line in the English language file:
JSG_K_WARNING_MSG=No Forum has been assigned to this group yet. Please contact the forum administrator.

Must be translated into the Spanish language like this:
JSG_K_WARNING_MSG=Aún no se ha asignado ningún foro a este grupo. Por favor contacta con el administrador.

The %1$s, %2$s, %3$s symbols, and similar ones, must not be translated. They're used by the extension to be latter replaced with variable values such as the user name, or the site name.

3Once the sentences are translated, you only need to rename the file using your language code. For example, the former English file: en-GB.com_jsgkunena.ini

Must be renamed for the Spanish language to: es-ES.com_jsgkunena.ini

  Hi Milu,

  The lines forwarded by # are just comments included in the language file to provide some clarification about what areas correspond to what texts.

  You don't need to translate them, as they are not used by the Joomla language engine.
